Daily Useful Things in Life

A post after being dormant for a while.

Just want to share a simple idea to turning some 'annoying' fliers or food boxes/packaging into something useful.

And I really do mean easy, as you only need to know how to use a pair of scissors.

Left vs Right

Left:
1. Find a cover that looks seemingly attractive.
2. Cut out your favourite shape (I'm really sorry, I did not mean to cut the lady away)
3. This is how to protect your table from mess. You can treat it as a single use and just throw it into recycle bin.
4. Otherwise, cut an exact shape of cardboard and stick it underneath so that your hot meal/drinks would not spoil the table.

Right:
1. 2. Follow the directions from the above.
3. Turn it into a mousepad? (Make sure the surface actually senses the movement of your mouse!)

Till next time.

Cap Sewing

Hey peeps! Happy new year!

Winter was not very merciful this (I mean last) year. So, I have sewn a cap to keep my green bear warm (I know, like that doesn't even make sense). But, anyway, now he has a cap! 😄

There's a 'story' behind this. You can learn about the 4-picture story from instagram @missbloopy

I have been spending time working on this unprofessional 'manual guide' (Image 3), which hopefully you all will find it easy to work through and sew a cap of your own!

Now then, happy sewing!

P.s. Have any interesting thing that you would like to sew, but cannot find a template? I will be more than happy to customize one for you!
